Blog Tour & Review: The Truth About Him by M. O'Keefe

THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM BOOK BLURB:

We played our roles, told each other lies.

But now Dylan is no longer just a mysterious deep voice on the other end of the line. We’re face-to-face and our relationship is very, very real.

We still have secrets—but so much is crystal clear:

The thrilling danger.

The raw, naked desire.

The need to keep feeling the way he makes me feel. Forever.

Dylan is putting up walls, trying to keep me safe, but he can’t shut me out. He has seen my darkness and rescued me. Now it’s my turn, if only he will let me.

Review

What began as an erotically charged relationship in Everything I Left Unsaid now continues in The Truth About Him. The adventure this book took you on was vastly different from the first book.  Dylan and Annie's story captivated me from the beginning of the first book, this continuing saga only got better.  The story is set a much slower pace, allowing the events to stay firmly anchored in your mind, while not allowing you to step away and take a book break.

The first book leaves you with that dreaded cliffhanger that everyone hates, making you wait in agony until the next installment is released.  The Truth About Him picks right up where the cliffhanger leaves off allowing the reader to jump right back in without having to first test the water.  The events of this book answers many of the questions you have from the first book.  Annie, while still running from her past, meets it head-on...encountering Dylan Daniels, the enigma, who has so much baggage that he tries to keep hidden in the shadows...Dylan's estranged father, his dangerous MC member brother, the accident...all the details begin to come to a head.  Sounds interesting doesn't it???

M.O'Keefe has written a very suspenseful and erotically charged conclusion to the series.  This novel, along with the first, is addictive, captivating, hot, intense and emotional, leaving you wanting more and more. The way it is written allows the reader to feel as if they are part of the story.  It is one that is not easily walked away from without finishing first.  Well done.  I look forward to reading more from M. O'Keefe.  If you haven't read anything from her, please pick up Everything I Left Unsaid and see why it is an attention grabber.

AUTHOR INFORMATION:

Molly O'Keefe has always known she wanted to be a writer (except when she wanted to be a florist or a chef and the brief period of time when she considered being a cowgirl). And once she got her hands on some romances, she knew exactly what she wanted to write.

She published her first Harlequin romance at age 25 and hasn't looked back. She loves exploring every character's road towards happily ever after.

Originally from a small town outside of Chicago, she went to university in St. Louis where she met and fell in love with the editor of her school newspaper. They followed each other around the world for several years and finally got married and settled down in Toronto, Ontario. They welcomed their son into their family in 2006, and their daughter in 2008. When she's not at the park or cleaning up the toy room, Molly is working hard on her next novel, trying to exercise, stalking Tina Fey on the internet and dreaming of the day she can finish a cup of coffee without interruption.
