Review of Reaper's Legacy by Joanna Wylde

Synopsis: Reaper's Legacy is a raw and intensely erotic tale in Joanna Wylde's Reapers Motorcycle Club series.

Eight years ago, Sophie gave her heart-and her virginity-to Zach Barrett on a night that couldn't have been less romantic or more embarrassing. Zach's step-brother, a steely-muscled, tattooed biker named Ruger, caught them in the act, getting a peep show of Sophie he's never forgotten.

She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious-her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach's a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger to be Noah's only male role model. When he discovers Sophie and his nephew living in near poverty, Ruger takes matters into his own hands-with the help of the Reapers Motorcycle Club-to give them a better life.

Living with outlaw bikers wasn't Sophie's plan for her son, but Ruger isn't giving her a choice. He'll be there for Noah, whether she wants him or not. But Sophie does want him, has always wanted him. Now she'll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way.

4.5 Stars!

Review: Sophie and Ruger were so amazing to watch unfold. I have to say that I am actually really surprised that he let things go on as long as he did, but other than that, he went after Sophie once he was tired of waiting. These two didn't start off very well, as Sophie was dating Zach, Ruger's step-brother, who turned out to be a total loser and abuser. Zach gets Sophie pregnant, and yet it is Ruger that is there for her in that moment when she needs someone the most - giving birth.

Fast forward eight years and Ruger realizes that Sophie and Noah, her son, and his nephew, are not doing so well on their own. At first, he blames her stubbornness and thinks that she is purposefully not asking for help, but he soon realizes that she has been abandoned by Zach, yet again. Ruger steps in to help her and crosses paths with another MC, the Devil's Jacks, which will unfold more in their story and the next, as well, as I have already looked ahead. Ruger makes Sophie come back to his town with him, and she and Noah end up living in his basement.

This is when the real story begins, as there is so much tension, misunderstandings, anger, and even secrets that begin to happen. Sophie is very determined that she will not like the MC and Ruger's family, but she begins to change her mind when the women reach out to her and welcome her to town. She slowly starts to get back on her feet, even though she and Ruger are slowly circling one another. He is determined that he can't promise her more than one night - maybe two, and she is determined not to settle for anything less than what she and Noah deserve - long term and stability.

Ruger finally realizes how much Sophie and Noah really mean to him, however, but at this point, Sophie does not feel that he can keep her and Noah safe due to his lifestyle. He will have to show her that he can, if he really wants to keep her.
