Review: I honestly don't even know where to begin with this book. I was asked to review this book and not to provide spoilers, which I try not to do, but good lord!! I need to yell about something or someone!
Okay, let me start over. If you are looking for a biker book that has lots of steam and hot moments, but also does not shy away from mentioning the violence that I assume probably really does exist within this type of lifestyle, then look no further. This book has it!
Eve is visiting her best friend, Teresa, in Australia for her wedding. She has recently been left by her "douche-bag" husband, so she is also now a single mom. So, for her, this trip is to celebrate her friend getting married, being free of her ex and some alone time as a woman. She messes up pretty quickly, however, by not following Teresa's advice to the letter. She stumbles across something that she was not supposed to see and makes one of the worst enemies that she could - Satan, the VP of the Carnal MC.
Teresa's husband, Prez, is...you guessed it...the President of the Severed MC, however, so he and Teresa's dad, Elvis, who is also like a second dad to Eve, vow that she will be protected. They take her into their compound as the days count down to the wedding and to them trying to find Satan before Satan finds Eve. This is where Eve meets Angel, who has a strange connection to Satan, himself. The two of them feel a pretty instant connection, and they have an amazing story. This story is not without it's tragedy, however, as Satan gets closer and closer to finding Eve. When something truly horrible happens, the Severed MC has to decide if they can and will keep Eve safe.
That's it...that's all I'm going to say for now. I will say this, however...I'm screaming at both Eve and Angel...and freakin' Doc!! Once you read it...you will know!
