Review of Entice by S.E. Hall

Synopsis: Book Three in the Evolve Series by S.E. Hall, Entice can be read following Emerge, Embrace, and Entangled (novella) or as a standalone.

Sawyer Beckett does everything full throttle - he's fiercely loyal to his friends, always the life of the party and impossible for the parade of women in and out of his bedroom to forget.

Surrounded by true love and happily ever afters, Sawyer's not sure if he's enhancing the what-ifs in his head, or if the goddess on stage that night really is worth the search and nagging in his chest.
At the most inopportune moment possible, Emmett Young comes "skipping" back into his life...and for the first time, Sawyer is the one left wanting more. But Emmett can't give her heart; it's already committed - for life.

The only one strong enough to bring the elusive playboy to his knees is the one he can't have. Luckily, Sawyer Beckett doesn't give up easily.

Review: Oh how I just love Sawyer! A funny playboy who tells it like it is.  He has watched many of his friends fall in love and gives them grief for being whipped until he does the same.

While out for a bachelor party, he sees a goddess on stage.  She dances to his favorite song but Sawyer figures out that it must be her first time stripping.  She seems to have no clue what she is doing and seems so nervous on stage.  However, Sawyer is still captivated by her.  No, not by her performance but by the girl.

Sawyer tries his best to get backstage but isn't able to get back there.  For weeks he looks for the girl trying out every strip joint he can just to find this mystery girl.  It seems as though she has disappeared.  To help keep his mind off her, he tries to lose himself in other women and an occasional bike race.  Then one night, his dream girl shows up while Sawyer is in the middle of some fun and man it's funny!

Bless his heart, he tries again to get to her but fails.  He is miserable.  He makes Laney miserable and Dane hates to Laney up set so Dane sets out to find this girl.  Sawyer is set up by Dane to interview a new waitress and who walks in?  Yep!  The woman Sawyer just cannot forget, Emmett Young.  Things are awkward at first but finally are smooth sailing.  They get to know one another while working together and find that they have great chemistry.

Sawyer really wants to be different with Emmett than he has with any other girl.  There is no pressure for a physical relationship.  They become friends.  Emmett loves Sawyer's friendship and does not want it to become romantic.  She has a secret that she believes will change any interest Sawyer will have.

Will Emmett finally trusts Sawyer enough and tell her secret? Will Sawyer overlook this secret or will he run? Will Sawyer get his woman and happily ever after like his friends or is his destiny to always be a playboy?

What did I love best about this book? It made me laugh out loud. Sawyer is a riot. Hall did a great job in getting into a guys head and the chemistry between Sawyer and Emmett.......WOW!
